My name is Mike Plummer, and I am the CEO and owner of M.R. Plummer, & Co.
I started in the drywall industry at 19 as a laborer in a partnership of two. By 23, I was running crews for that same company. When I was denied a raise, I understood that at just $11/hour, I had already topped out.

But I had also learned a trade.
I quit the next day and never looked back.

We are a drywall and paint subcontractor specializing in custom homes and design-build. Because we house both trades under one roof, you will see the same faces and get to know us as friendly, approachable, and reliable..​

We are a proud family business.
April and I have been married since 2010. She works for the Federal Aviation Administration and helps with the company's administrative needs. She dabbles in photography and writing.
Kylie is currently a sophomore at George Mason. She is extremely creative and talented in the arts.

My own passion is for fishing. My first fishing rod was nothing more than a stick with a line attached to the end, and I've been hooked ever since. (Pun intended!) I spend most of my free time following the fish in the Potomac. I also like to stretch my creative side in my woodworking shop.
